Matthew Cosgrove is currently studying towards a BBA degree. He joined Marsh Adjustment Limited in October 2010 as the Assistant Information Technology Manager. He received a promotion to Information Technology Manager in October 2015. He combines industry knowledge and education with experience guiding digital transformation, project development, and IT operations to elevate business performance. Excels at crafting communications and maintaining consistency across all operations. Cosgrove begin his career as a student help desk technician at Nova Scotia Community College. He moved on to intern at this campus where he then received contract employment as an Information Technology Technician. Before receiving student employment, he began studying Business Administration in September 2008 at NSCC; he graduated with a concentration of Software and Information Management in June 2010. Honors and activities: Honor Student / Jean Peters memorial award for highest technical academic skill and professional work ethic / Students’ council & class representative / Skills Canada competitor / Computer services and support center volunteer / Tutor. Cosgrove is known as a disciplined self starter when it comes to pursuing education, business, athletics and creative aspects of his life; sufficiently motivated and ambitious to further his abilities in all environments. This mindset keeps him opened and excited when working on company projects; from web design to technical infrastructure management and daily operations; he is loyal and committed to providing stakeholders and staff with the highest level of service. Matthew was married in the spring of 2015 to Mary Cosgrove (formerly Taylor); they purchased a house in Halifax that same year and adopted two cats. Physical activity is a big part of Matthew’s life; from experiencing different fitness styles to exploring the Maritimes and playing sports. Fun facts: he’s a certified PADI Rescue Diver, certified to handle restricted firearms, licensed to operator boats, motorcycles and vehicles, tested blackbelt in taekwondo competitions, former member of the Archers Association of Nova Scotia and a well-rounded athlete.
